Terms of Service

The responsibilities and expectations that help keep PULSE useful, trustworthy and safe for patients and practitioners.

Last updated: September 14, 2026

1. Using PULSE

These terms govern use of pulsewithcare.com and its account, directory, appointment and practitioner features. By using PULSE, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must have legal capacity to enter into this agreement and authority to provide the information you submit. Questions can be sent to support@pulsewithcare.com.

2. Our role and medical emergencies

PULSE helps people discover practitioners and request appointments. PULSE does not itself provide medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency care. Website content and directory listings are not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional. The practitioner is responsible for the care they provide and any separate patient agreement.

Profile review or a verification indicator is not a guarantee of treatment quality, results, suitability or continuously current credentials. Confirm relevant qualifications, service details and costs directly with the practitioner. For an emergency, contact your local emergency services; do not rely on PULSE messages or appointment requests.

3. Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, keep account details current and protect your sign-in credentials. Do not impersonate another person, share access without authorization or use an account to bypass role restrictions. Notify support if you suspect unauthorized access. Account access may depend on email verification and other onboarding requirements.

4. Practitioner responsibilities

Practitioners are responsible for accurate profiles, credentials, service descriptions, prices and availability claims; maintaining required professional permissions; and complying with obligations applicable to their practice. Submit only documents you are authorized to provide. Public profile activation can depend on review, membership eligibility and account status. Approval does not create employment, agency or a clinical relationship with PULSE.

5. Appointment requests and Calendar

Submitting an appointment is a request, not a confirmed reservation. The practitioner must confirm it. Displayed request times are not a guarantee of live Google Calendar availability. Review confirmation and cancellation messages and contact the practitioner when necessary.

Practitioners may authorize Google Calendar synchronization. PULSE attempts to create an event after confirmation and remove the associated event after cancellation. Network issues, revoked permissions or third-party outages can delay or prevent synchronization. Check appointment status in PULSE rather than relying only on Calendar or email. Public booking links may be unavailable when the practitioner is not eligible or not accepting requests.

6. Memberships and payments

Paid practitioner memberships are processed through Stripe. Review the amount, billing interval, renewal and cancellation information presented when subscribing. Recurring subscriptions renew under the terms accepted at checkout unless cancelled. Use the available billing controls or contact support to manage a subscription; deleting a PULSE account is not a substitute for cancelling billing.

Payment failures or membership changes can affect access and public profile eligibility under the service’s billing rules. For refund or billing questions, contact support; requests are handled under the terms disclosed for the purchase and applicable law. Practitioner care charges are separate from a PULSE membership unless explicitly stated otherwise.

7. Your content and acceptable use

You retain your rights in content you submit and authorize PULSE to store, process and display it as necessary to provide the features you use. Public profiles, reviews and published content can be visible to others. You are responsible for having permission to submit files, images and information.

  • Do not submit unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory or misleading content.
  • Do not expose another person’s private health or identifying information without authorization.
  • Do not upload malicious files, attempt unauthorized access or interfere with the service.
  • Do not scrape private information, send spam, manipulate reviews or misrepresent professional credentials.

PULSE may review, restrict or remove content and accounts to address violations, security concerns or legal obligations.

8. Privacy and third-party services

Our Privacy Policy explains information handling, including Google Calendar event content, uploaded files and transactional email. Google, Stripe and other connected services have their own terms and availability. Authorizing a connection does not give PULSE control over those services. You may revoke Google access through your Google Account settings.

9. Availability and responsibility

We aim to maintain a reliable service, but uninterrupted operation, successful email delivery, Calendar synchronization and error-free information cannot be guaranteed. Features may change or be unavailable for maintenance. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without guarantees of clinical outcomes or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Ending access

You can stop using PULSE and request or use account deletion. Resolve active appointments and memberships before closing your account. We may suspend or restrict access when necessary to address misuse, security risks, failed eligibility requirements or legal obligations. Deletion and retention are described in the Privacy Policy; third-party records may require separate action.

11. Changes and questions

We may revise these terms as PULSE evolves. Updated terms will appear here with a revised date, and any notice or consent required by applicable law will be provided. Contact support@pulsewithcare.com about these terms, billing questions or a service concern so we can work toward resolving it.
